Constructed of lead-free, corrosion-resistant brass, this durable hex head is used to connect two pipes of different Diameters. The hex-head design enables better grip and torque when using a wrench, and its tapered threads are NPT standard. This bushing is ideal to use with copper, brass or iron pipe on oil, natural gas, water or air lines. It is not intended for underground use. This fitting conforms to NSF 61 and 372 and is registered in Mass.
